At Peak our kids are in charge of maintaining our Worm Farms. Each centre has a roster which enables all of the kids to be responsible for feeding our wiggly worms. We have fresh fruit and sandwiches every day at Peak and the worms love eating our scraps and leftovers!
Our Tullimbar centre has its very own Veggie garden which our kids are also responsible for. We eat our tomatoes on our sandwiches and as our herbs grow our kids and parents can take them home to enjoy! We also enjoy learning about life cycles of plants and how important it is to look after the garden for it to grow and flourish.
Our Before School Care program incorporates the Colgate 'Bright Smiles Bright Futures' program. This sees our kids have their own toothbrush and toothpaste at Peak. They learn about dental hygeine and the importance of keeping their teeth healthy!
At our Peak centres we integrate the Active After Schools Sports Program into our own sports program. This fantastic initiative allows us to learn new and different sports like Golf, Cheerleading, Hip hop, Gynmastics and much more!
