What is a Reconciliation Action Plan? (RAP)

The Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program provides a framework for us a service provider to support the national reconciliation movement.  A RAP is a strategic document that includes practical actions that drive our contribution to reconciliation and educating children about its importance within our community.

At Peak Sports and Learning we have developed a RAP through Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Schools and Early Learning, and it is currently implemented at each of our centres to foster a higher level of knowledge and pride in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions.

A copy of our RAP is available at each centre on our Parent's Information Table.

You will see our children engaged in various experiences that build strong relationships, respect and opportunities whilst at our services. Furthermore culturally diverse experiences are embedded into our daily practice and are formalised in our Aboriginal Education program- which is also available at all times to our families.
