Government $500 basc voucher

BASC Vouchers.png

This scheme has now ended. Voucher credit can continue to be used for any sessions up to 30th June 2023, unless used sooner. After the 30th June 2023, any amounts remaining will be adjusted to be returned to the government.

How to Redeem with Peak?
Parents can redeem their vouchers by emailing through the voucher including the Voucher Code to admin@peaksportslearning.com.au . Where it is only available in your Service NSW App, please take screenshots and email these through to admin.

What can it be used for?
Voucher credit can be used for before, after school care or vacation care attendances up to 30 June 2023, unless the credit is used sooner. Where there is unused credit, this is returned to the Government at 30th June 2023.

My child goes to a different centre for Vacation Care, can I transfer the voucher credit towards this?
No, unfortunately the BASC voucher can only be redeemed at one location. Therefore parents should specify the location that they wish to redeem the voucher.

Can the voucher be used to pay off my debt?
No, Voucher credit can only be used for any attendances between the period 28th February 2022 - 30 June 2023.

I am eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). If I use the BASC Voucher, do I still qualify for the CCS?
Child Care Subsidy where entitled will continue to be paid and apply as normal. For example, if our session fee is $35 and your CCS is 75%, then your out-of-pocket cost is $10.06. Your BASC Voucher will cover the $10.06.

I have 3 children - how much is available to me?
For each eligible child you will receive 1 x $500 BASC Voucher. For 3 eligible children you will receive $1500 in BASC Vouchers.

My child goes to Peak, as well as another after school care/before school care provider - can I split the BASC Voucher?
No, the BASC voucher can only be redeemed with one provider.

Our family is separated and both parents have separate accounts, can we both claim the BASC Voucher for our child?
Only one BASC Voucher can be issued for each child, which means the first parent to apply will receive it. In cases where a child has two Medicare numbers, the voucher may be applied for twice, however the service is only permitted to redeem one voucher per child. Where a second voucher is claimed for the same child, Service NSW will reach out to the parent with the ineligible voucher.
